1920S Tower Castle Radio Cone Speaker Super

New page 1 up for auction is a working 1920's tower castle cone speaker in extremely nice condition. The metal frame and base are excellent with no chips, cracks or breaks that i can see. As you can see by the picture, it depicts a castle with two trumpeters at the base and a nice tower logo at the front of the base. The base color is gold with what appears to be a deep blue or light black highlights.

The original cone has some wrinkles, stains on the outer edge (see picture), and a little separation where the cone is put together at the bottom (see picture), but seems to be holding together well. When i gently push the cone, both sides meet evenlyit appears the it could be easily glued. This has a nice tower identification stamp on the back. I tested the driver with a simpson ohm meter and a 9 volt battery tester and got good continuity on the driver posts as the cord is missing. I took a picture of the driver showing the connecting points for the speaker cord.

This measures 17 1/2 in diameter, approx. 6 deep at the baes and 17 1/2 tall. A very nice example fo this not easily found speaker! If you have any questions, please email before bidding.

We ship with dhl or usps, whichever is the most economical. We alos ship internationally (check for quote). Ohoi residents must pay sales tax.
